PGY1s: We Want YOU!

CFPC PGY1 applications are now open!


Information: section of residents that represents each family medicine training program in Canada to the college. There are 2 residents from each of the 17 schools, one PGY-1 and one PGY-2. We advocate on a variety of issues including curriculum reform, post residency training programs, and certification exam logistics.


Term: Two years


Responsibilities: Representing Queen’s University family medicine residents at two meetings per year in Mississauga (all costs are reimbursed) and up to two additional teleconferences throughout the year.

Updating your fellow residents with the newest CFPC resident initiatives.

Participating in SoR sub-committees and other national/international committees with some of the leaders in family medicine from across Canada.


Next meeting date: Sunday, September 22nd and Monday, September 23rd, 2019. Remaining dates TBD.


**ELECTION PROCESS**

Submit a short paragraph (max 200 words) and which position you are applying for, by Thursday, July 20th at 11:59 PM, to:

You can apply to both OCFP and CFPC positions but would require separate position statements!
