RESIDENT WELLNESS CORNER

Residency can be STRESSFUL, and you don’t have to manage it on your own! The Resident Wellness Committee is here to help residents maintain balance throughout their residency. In addition to running multiple wellness events and Ice Cream rounds on core rotations, the wellness reps are always happy to chat if you are struggling. Please do not hesitate to reach out via email with any questions, comments, or suggestions to foster wellness in the Queen's Department of Family Medicine:

RESOURCES

Below are some great resources for maintaining wellness and seeking help when needed:

FACULTY ADVISORS

Faculty Advisors are members of the DFM who do not have a supervisory role. The Faculty Advisor is available to discuss personal stresses. The Program Director, Site Director, and the Program Coordinator in the Department are other resources to you if stress is becoming an issue. There is an open door policy and you are invited to come by at any time if you feel the need.

*** Please be assured that confidentiality is maintained at all times.
