Recruiting Undergraduate OSCE Examiners

UGME is looking for resident examiners for the Clerkship OSCE for the class of 2020.

This is an excellent opportunity to become more familiar with OSCE station structure and grading, including the opportunity to be trained as an examiner prior to the exam. This experience will be beneficial to you, especially in preparation for your LMCC2. It will help you improve your skills with OSCE examinations, including a better understanding of the criteria for assessment of OSCE performance.

The exam is scheduled for Monday, June 17, 2019. The exam will run in 2 blocks: 8 am – 12:30 pm and 12:00 pm – 4:30 pm.

Residents will need to participate in mandatory training session beforehand. There are two possible dates for training:

Tuesday June 11th 5-6:30pm and Thursday June 13th 5-6:30pm.

Interested residents should forward their names to Kelly Sparks (ugmeyr3&4@queensu.ca) by Friday May 10.

Preference will be given to those residents who have not yet completed their LMCC2.

When you respond:

  1. Please indicate if you have done the LMCC2 or when you are planning to do this exam.

  2. Please specify which time slot you would like (morning or afternoon)

  3. Please specify which examiner training date you would like to participate in.
