Virtual Residents Information Session from Kawartha Lakes
Please see the following information for an upcoming recruitment and information session for any residents interested in practicing in Kawartha Lakes. This is a virtual event taking place on Saturday, August 14th from 9am - 1pm. There is a maximum participation of 20 attendees, is open for resident partners to attend as well, and requires RSVP (via email to csnider@rmh.org).

Good Afternoon,
Kawartha Lakes Health Care Initiative (KLHCI) normally hosts two Residents Weekends per year, to showcase our community however COVID has placed those weekends on hold.
In order to give you, and your partner, an opportunity to explore what the Kawartha Lakes area is like - what it would be like to live, raise your family, and practice here - I am pleased to invite you to a virtual Residents Information Session on Saturday, August 14th from 9am – 1 pm.
Included in the morning will be an introduction to the City of Kawartha Lakes and practice opportunities available, an exploration of the local wines and craft beers presented by a local professional sommelier, a panel of family physicians for a Q&A, and financial advice on starting your medical practice.
This invitation is open to a maximum of 20 attendees, including partners, and I hope that you will join us. Please RSVP as soon as possible and at that time I will provide you with the Zoom link.
