We are elated to share with you the launch of Prim3d: A Sex Guide for Trans Men Into Menalong with its new home, GETPRIMED.ca – sexual health content and resources for queer trans men, transmasculine, and non-binary people.
The launch starts with this informative webinar for Alliance members, delivered by Dr. Jordan Goodridge, a specialist in trans health and sexual health. First, we'll cover clinical topics like pap tests, binders and issues pertaining to transitioned-related surgery (TRS). The second part will be a conversation on trans sexual health between Eliot Newton and Dr. Goodridge.
We encourage service providers/staff of (but, not limited to) AIDS service organizations (ASOs), community-based organizations (CBOs)s, community health centres (CHCs), Public Health – folks who work in outreach, sexual health and, those who are linked to trans men services, to register for this event. The conversation will be informative, rich, and stimulating. Don’t miss this!

ABOUT PRIMED The PRIMED guide was the first of its kind when published in 2007 and updated in 2015. Now in 2021, it’s with enormous pride and gratitude we release the third iteration of PRIM3D all due to the significant amount of work done by the talented project team with generous support from community consultation and engagement, along with clinical partners and, complimented by trans and non-binary photographers, designers, and creative professionals.
PRESENTERS
Dr. Jordan Goodridge is a Family Physician working at the Sherbourne Health Centre, where he has a focused practice in LGBTQ+ Health and HIV Primary Care. He received his MD from Queen's University in Kingston, Ontario, and completed his Family Medicine training at McMaster University in Hamilton. Dr. Goodridge then went on to complete an Enhanced Skills Program in HIV Primary Care with the University of Toronto through St. Michael's Hospital. He has a strong interest in medical education and currently teaches elective medical students and residents at the Sherbourne Health Centre where he oversees a practice. In addition, he leads seminars in transgender healthcare through Rainbow Health Ontario and CAMH's ECHO program.
Eliot Newton is a nonbinary transgender settler living in Ottawa, ON. They have a B. A. (University of Ottawa, 2016) and have taught on issues related to 2SLGBTQ+ identities for eight years. In that time, they have worked with the Canadian Centre for Gender and Sexual Diversity, providing workshops to children and youth across the country, as well as with Rainbow Health Ontario, training doctors and other health workers on cultural humility and LGBT2SQ-competent care. Eliot has presented at international conferences and worked with clients such as Scotiabank, Green Party of Canada, and BlackBerry. You can find them atgenderbandit.com.

The Gay Men’s Sexual Health Alliance (GMSH) champions the health of 2GBTQ+ men in Ontario. We lead the development of cutting-edge sexual health promotion resources and collaborate with HIV service organizations and other service providers in Ontario to ensure 2GBTQ+ men have the information, supports and services they need to have the sex they want.
