HFO Career Fairs Reminder

Reminder for PGY-1&2, All Sites:

HealthForceOntario is holding a careers fair on August 10th @ 4:30-8:00pm with FREE buffet dinner at the Four Points Sheraton ballroom A and B: for PGY-1s your session is at 4:30 right after your MSK skills day, so can go straight into the exhibit hall and browse and get some dinner. PGY-2s will be completed their 99topics day by 5:30pm and can follow in, food will be refreshed.

The Careers Fair will consist of around 20 communities/family practice groups/Community Health Centres and Hospitals in South Eastern Ontario any of which could be a potential practice site for you. They will have set up booths so you can walk around and meet the recruiters for these areas.

We would strongly encourage you to attend and take the opportunity to learn some more about which groups there are in South Eastern Ontario and what they can offer you in terms of personal and professional opportunities. Use this time wisely to help identify potential rotation sites you can train in throughout your residency training and make important connections that will help you professionally when you start your careers.
