Johns Hopkins Epidemiology and Biostatistics Short Courses

The 35th Graduate Summer Institute of Epidemiology and Biostatistics will be held at the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health, June 12-30, 2017. Our program offers intensive short courses focused on research methods and practice, highlighting epidemiologic and statistical concepts and methodology.

 

We would be most grateful if you would share information about our summer program in epidemiology and biostatistics with faculty, staff, students, and trainees in your department.

Our foundation courses include:

Principles of Epidemiology, Intermediate Epidemiology, and Statistical Reasoning in Public Health.

Online courses include:

Epidemiologic Inference in Public Health, Epidemiologic Intelligence and Population Health Assessments and Power and Sample Size for the Design of Epidemiological Studies.

Other courses of interest include:

Epidemiologic Applications of GIS, Design and Conduct of Clinical Trials,Nutritional Epidemiology, Health Situation Analysis, Surveillance, and Outbreak Investigation.

  • Participants can register for professional development, to enhance current skills, or for academic credit for those interested in applying the course work towards a degree program.

  • JHU Campus Housing available: fees include breakfast and dinner daily.
