Kingston WritersFest is hosting an evening with OBGYN and author of The Vaginal Bible, Dr. Jennifer Gunter on Oct 30th 7-9PM. The event is co-hosted by Kingston OBGYN Dr. Ashley Waddington. See link for details - the event is expected to sell out quickly. Costs $10 with student ID to attend.

It's only the end of September but PGY2 is flying by and that means our CCFP certification exam is fast approaching.

Speaking with new staff who have recently written the exam, most residents prefer a combination of textbooks, podcasts and practice SAMPs/SOOs in order to prepare. The advice is to start reviewing early as there are 99 topics to cover.

This is a friendly reminder to complete the CFPC Section of Residents (SoR) national survey on Quality Improvement Education within Family Medicine across Canada, as part of the SoR Guide for Improvement of Family Medicine Training (GIFT) Project 2019.

Upon completion of the survey, you have the opportunity to submit your email to be entered into a random draw to receive a $50 prepaid Visa Card!
